· EACTC- Gail Viscome
o PAYS Survey- Oct. 2021
§ Connection to school is one of the highest risk factors and was a focus of this survey. Responses were passed on to teachers so they can adjust actions to fulfill the needs. Recognition from the school is the highest concern in our school district.
§ Mental Health
· 30% of students felt sad and depressed.
· If using alcohol that rate is 5 times more likely to be depressed.
· 15% of students report that they have seriously considered suicide
o The number of seniors who have considered suicide is above the state average.
§ Children need to be educated that street drugs aren’t regulated, they are way more dangerous than just asking someone for a pill to calm down. They can be laced with chemicals and drugs that can kill.
o Overdoses last year in Lancaster County, which resulted in death, was 150.
o Attalo program- 25 students that just graduated from the program (it’s every 6 weeks).
o EAMS Homework Helpers- need adults to sit with and hang out with students (preferably Wednesdays and Thursdays) and make sure they are doing their work, studying, or making up missed work.
o Prayer for Gail and the group she’s traveling with over the next two weeks as she’s in Isreal.
· United Churches Elizabethtown Area
o Hiring a new Community Cupboard Director, Steve Knox
o Looking to hire a Campus Director
o Tukey giveaway at Elizabethtown Mennonite (around Christmas). If you have people that are in need of a turkey dinner, they can get their vouchers at the Community Cupboard.
o Pray for funds. The CPOW campus is run by UCEA as well as the Community Cupboard, the Clothing Barn, and Elizabethtown Meals on Wheels.

o Prayers for auction, grace over the auction for Mill Road, which will be happening within the week.

o Ministerium Meeting- Light Breakfast & Spiritual Enrichment- 11/17 at 9am at Trinity Full Gospel
