Community Updates:
· Elizabethtown Borough
o Looking for a new police chief.
o Have a new borough manager
Informational Updates:
· EACTC- Mason Brown
o Etown Mentorship/Tutoring starts next week
§ Wednesdays & Thursdays
· AM- High School 7:20am-8:20am
· PM- Middle School 1:50pm-2:50pm

· CPOW- Doug Lamb
o The Elizabethtown Community Cupboard almost doubled the amount of clients in recent months.
§ They need food. Churches can take a month and supply food for the food bank then.
· They need everything. Keep an eye out for an email of when your month could be.
§ Working on funding to get the kitchen remodeled.
o Turkey Giveaway
§ December 16th.
§ Looking for donated turkeys. Pray into this, the food bank numbers doubled and the people that usually donate the turkeys have cut our turkeys down to 50 instead of 100.
o White House Housing
§ Remodel is almost finished
§ Planning a ribbon cutting, but unsure when
o Clothing Barn
§ Moved to the brick building and are looking to possibly have evening hours.
§ Unsure what will happen with the red barn.
· An org that teaches kids how to repair bicycles is interested, but they are unable to expand at this moment.
· ECHOS-
o Winter Shelter Training
§ November 8th at St. Paul’s.
o Winter Shelter opens December 4th.
§ 4 family rooms
§ Only 40 beds allowed (from the borough)
§ Pray for this season, we may see a huge influx.
· Cornerstone- Jim Bush
o October 20th 5-7 Open House- RSVP by calling the center and scheduling a tour.
§ Remodeled the café
· Added cubbies for backpacks & coats
o Always looking for financial support.
· LOVE, Inc.- Jay Raigh
o The Meal
o Closing down the transportation ministry, but still serving the same clients they are currently serving.
§ Moving their call center into a more of a help center and not just scheduling medical transportation, in the next few years. Creating a culture of mentorship.
o Looking for churches to serve a ministry in the county to help them on their property.
o Looking to train people in budget management to mentor families in Columbia, with Home of Hope.
· Upcoming Events
o Faith and Blue will be October 7th at Etown Grace.
o October 19th- Spiritual Enrichment and Light Breakfast for the pastors at Trinity Full Gospel Chapel.
· MISC
o A lady in the community is looking for a space to rent in a church for childcare.
o Good News Club in Bainbridge Elementary School- prayers for the ministry as they can’t hand out flyers to the kids anymore, per the district.
